NBA Fans React To The Atlanta Hawks Beating The New York Knicks: “What Happened To All Their Energy After Trae Young Made That Shot?”

Hoops Habit

The New York Knicks have made the playoffs for the first time since the Carmelo Anthony era this season. The hiring of coach Tom Thibodeau and Julius Randle’s first All-Star season have been bright spots for them and they have faced the Atlanta Hawks for their first game. However, the Knicks lost 105-107.

They are a large franchise, so naturally many fans followed the game. Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks hit a game-winner to put the Atlanta Hawks up 1-0 in the series, and his performance was amazing, as he put up 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists. Here is what some people had to say:

They didn’t have the best of luck today, but what Thibodeau’s squad has done is always bounced back from a defeat. He’ll have them ready for the next game, and if this game is any indication of what’s to come, then this series is going to 7 games. Alec Burks had a career night, but unfortunately, the New York Knicks couldn’t get it done.

Hopefully, the New York Knicks win at least one playoff game, as their fans absolutely deserve that moment. Julius Randle wasn’t on top of his game today, but if he will be next game, the New York Knicks will be in good shape. We will see what happens, but what we do know is that Trae Young was spectacular tonight and that he will keep attacking the defense. The New York Knicks need a solution, but under Thibodeau, they’ve always figured it out.
