NBA Fans React To The Boston Celtics Making Big Trade For Kristaps Porzingis

Fans are shocked after Celtics make unexpected move for sharpshooting big man.

Every summer, the Boston Celtics are seemingly in the mix for every big trade proposal. Of course, for an organization that has built a stockpile of assets, this abundance of options is by design.

This summer, however, the Cs made this big move early by adding veteran sharpshooting big man Kristaps Porzingis to join Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in Boston. While some experts praise the Celtics for essentially flipping spare parts into a borderline All-Star, some fans have already begun the work of shaming the Celtics for this move and criticizing GM Brad Stevens for tying his team up with Porzingis, who is set to earn $36 million next season.

The big win in the Porzingis trade is you can really keep Horford on ice during the regular season so he’s ready for the wars vs Embiid & Giannis in the playoffs

Celtics got Brogdon for fish and chips last year and he won 6MOY now they flipping him for Porzingis them boys do not lose sleep over there

Porzingis was not the player most experts had in mind as a target for the Celtics, but it doe make sense when you think about it. All season long, Joe Mazzulla made perimeter shooting a point of focus for his guys, and KP is one of the best in the league at his position when it comes to scoring points on the perimeter.

With him, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum, there’s no reason why the Celtics shouldn’t be one of the favorites to come out of the East again next season.

Can The Celtics Finally Win Another Title?

As a franchise, the Celtics have not won the Larry O’Brien trophy since 2008, but they’ve been painstakingly close for years now. For whatever reason, something always gets in the way for the Cs, and they have yet to go all the way with Tatum leading the way.

The Celtics hope to change their fate by adding another star to their already-stacked roster. The best part is, they gave up practically nothing for it.

So, next season, there will be no excuses for the Celtics. If they cannot get it done, for whatever reason, it may be time to blow it all up for good and start from scratch. For now, they just need to hope and pray that KP is the guy they need to reach their goals and bring home the title.
