LeBron James was one of the major names who failed to make the Top 10 of The Ringer’s player rankings.

The sports site released its rankings following the end of this past season, with Nikola Jokic listed as No. 1. James was placed 12th and that had fans putting their arms up in protest, while some had their own take on the list that had a notable absentee in Kyrie Irving.

Here’s a full list of the Top 25 players ranked:

1. Nikola Jokic

2. Stephen Curry

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo

4. Kevin Durant

5. Joel Embiid

6. Jayson Tatum

7. Luka Doncic

8. Kawhi Leonard

9. Jimmy Butler

10. Devin Booker

11. Anthony Davis

12. LeBron James

13. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

14. Damian Lillard

15. Donovan Mitchell

16. Jamal Murray

17. De’Aaron Fox

18. Ja Morant

19. James Harden

20. Domantas Sabonis

21. Bam Adebayo

22. Jaylen Brown

23. Trae Young

24. Anthony Edwards

25. Paul George

With the Nuggets winning their maiden championship and Jokic winning his first Finals MVP, there’s no doubt that the site deservedly put him on top of the list.

James and Davis were outside of the Top 10 despite their consistent contributions in the Los Angeles Lakers Conference Finals run last season.

NBA Fans React To LeBron James Outside Of The Ringer’s Top 10 List

Soon after the list, fans shared their thoughts on the Lakers superstar placed outside of the list.

One of the fans slammed the rankings. “You gotta be mentally challenged to take any of these guys over Ja Morant or Lebron James.”

Some couldn’t believe that AD was placed over the four-time NBA champion.

No Irving in the list baffled fans.

“People are too low on Embiid for his last two playoffs,” a fan wrote.

This was also shared by another fan with the same opinion.

Clippers fans weren’t far behind. “Putting PG at the bottom of the top 25 rankings while putting Kawhi top 10 when they averaged the same numbers the past season is comical.”
