NBA fans are always keeping an eye on everything happening around the league. This has been the common thing since social media grew and everything was reported on there, and now with so much going on around the association, everybody has something to say about everything.

Kyrie Irving surprised the NBA world on Friday when he requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets when absolutely nobody expected them. Even if he doesn’t leave the Nets before the deadline strikes, he’ll be a free agent next summer and will have the chance to pick his next destination.

Meanwhile, several teams are trying to acquire his services this season and see if they can give him a new deal, with the Los Angeles Lakers mentioned as a top candidate to land Kyrie. Many trade ideas have been created in the past hours, and every single one includes Russell Westbrook.

NBA Fans Convinced That Russell Westbrook Is On The Move After Lakers’ Recent Update

Brodie has recovered his best level coming off the bench this season, but that’s still not enough to keep his name out of trade rumors. This is why many fans think he’s living his last days in Los Angeles.

After it was announced that he won’t play tonight due to a ‘non-covid’ illness, many NBA fans started speculating about the meaning of this announcement, with most of them agreeing that Westbrook is on his way out of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Things could get really interesting for the Lakers if they complete a move for Irving, but it remains to be seen if the Purple and Gold send a compelling package to Los Angeles and if the Nets decide to part with Kyrie or keep him on the roster for the rest of the season. This is a complex situation and not only the Nets but the rest of the NBA have big decisions to make in the next hours.
