Karl-Anthony Towns Says He Got Workout Advice From Ben Wallace To Reshape His Body: “I’m Ready Right Now. I’m Grateful For The Opportunity, Grateful For Where My Mind Is At.”

Karl-Anthony Towns is ready for the new season. The big man for the Minnesota Timberwolves has struggled over the last few years and is looking motivated as he and the team prepare for the new season.

Towns entered the league in 2015 as the 1st overall pick. Since then, he has shown a steady improvement and proven that he can be a superstar in the NBA. Towns’ biggest problem has been the Timberwolves not surrounding him with the right stars.

The controversy that went down between Towns, Jimmy Butler, and the Minnesota Timberwolves is the best example of this. Butler and Towns didn’t gel as teammates, and the situation broke down and ended with Butler being traded.

Since then, Towns has had a little more say in the franchise, getting them to bring D’Angelo Russell to the Timberwolves. The two players are very close friends with each other and wanted to play with each other.

On top of that, the Timberwolves drafted Anthony Edwards with the 1st overall pick in last year’s NBA Draft. So the Timberwolves have a solid squad going into the new season. But the issues of management have not gone away over the last few months, as we saw with the recent firing of Gersson Rosas.

KAT recently commented on the firing, slamming the organization for fostering a chaotic environment around the team. But when it comes to getting ready for basketball, Towns has been putting in the work.

Karl-Anthony Towns recently revealed that he has been working extremely hard to get in shape for the new season. In fact, he even got advice from NBA legend and former champion Ben Wallace about how to get in better shape.

“I’m ready right now. I’m grateful for the opportunity, grateful for where my mind’s at.”

Clearly Towns is looking forward to the new season. The Timberwolves could have a much better year, and their trio of KAT, D’Lo, and Ant could help them secure a playoff position after the last few years of floundering.

This year will be crucial for the Timberwolves, as this may be their last year to keep Towns satisfied going forward. He has a contract till 2024, and thus the Timberwolves need to act quick in order to get him to sign a contract extension and keep him going forward.
