NBA’s Last Two Minute report recorded seven incorrect calls in the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks clash on Thursday.

The Mavericks eventually propped up a 119-115 win in double overtime, but quite a few calls that went against both sides sparked massive outrage on social media.

One of them was a non-call on LeBron James’ game-winning attempt with 2.9 seconds left on the clock in the first OT. Per the report, Mavericks’ forward Christian Wood did indeed initiate contact with James’ left arm before the block and the now-deemed illegal contact affected the veteran’s attempt.

Per ESPN, the officials also missed out on whistling on Luka Doncic’s loose ball foul for coming into contact with Wenyen Gabriel’s arm.

The biggest call that had the Lakers disappointed was the three-point attempt by Troy Brown Jr. at the end of the regulation when Tim Hardaway Jr. made contact with the forward’s hand. The report confirmed that there was indeed a touch, and added that any “high-five” contact was also deemed incidental.

Quite simply, the referring errors cost the Lakers a win.

LeBron James Believed The No-Foul Call Against Troy Brown Jr. Was An Officiating Error

The Lakers superstar had a blunt one-word response when asked about the no-call foul against Brown Jr. that would have sent him to the charity stripe.

Per Clutch Points, a visibly disappointed James who ended his evening with 24 points, 16 rebounds, and 9 assists, was sure that there was a foul.

The loss to the Mavericks puts the Lakers at 19-23 and 13th in the West, while the former sit pretty in fifth place with a 27-14 record. James and his unit will look to put the defeat behind them as they gear up to face the Philadelphia 76ers next and snap their mini two-game losing streak.
