Scottie Pippen Refused To Make Amends With Isiah Thomas After The Last Dance Aired: “It’s Not Like We’re Crossing Each Other’s Paths Anymore.”

Scottie Pippen and Isiah Thomas starred in high-voltage encounters on the court when the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons clashed in the Eastern Conference playoff. They had incredible duels, although the Pistons focused their attention on stopping Michael Jordan during those days.

The “Bad Boys'” dirtiness was too much for their rivals, earning the hate from the rest of the NBA thanks to their questionable manners. Zeke didn’t get the call to represent the 1992 Dream Team, although he was one of the best point guards in the NBA at the moment.

Scottie never liked the 2x NBA champion and was one of the people that protested against Thomas’ inclusion on the 1992 Team USA roster. The Chicago Bulls legend kept taking shots at his old rival and revealed in his book that he refused to make a truce with Thomas after The Last Dance was aired.

Pippen has made a lot of noise recently, thanks to his controversial statements. His book will come out on November 9th and the things we know about it are already eyebrow-raising. Besides taking shots at the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan, Pippen said that Thomas tried to make amends with him, but he wasn’t interested in that.

Via Sopan Deb of The New York Times:

You write that Isiah Thomas reached out after the documentary aired and wanted to declare a truce with you. You said that you were unwilling to speak to him. Why is that?

Well, I played in the league for 18 years and there was never a relationship there. I’ve been out of the league for 15 years, so why now? It’s not like we’re crossing each other’s paths anymore.

This was yet another controversial interview for Pippen. The former small forward is set to make noise and get some things off his chest. After plenty of years of being quiet, Pippen is done and won’t stop until he expresses how he felt during these years.

Scottie took shots at Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson, John Paxson, Charles Barkley and more people. Of course, Isiah Thomas wouldn’t be the exception, but we’ll have to wait until the book comes out to see what No. 33 said about him in full detail.
