To this date, Shaquille O'Neal remains one of the most dominant players to ever play in the NBA. The Diesel entered the league during the 1990s, the era was perfect for big man, and he took full advantage of it.
He started to flaunt his talent in his rookie year and never looked back. O'Neal was drafted by the Orlando Magic and helped the franchise reach the NBA Finals once. He carried the Magic to the 1995 NBA Finals but was completely obliterated by Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets.
Anyway, he soon signed with the Los Angeles Lakers and really started to blossom into an NBA superstar. During the prime of his career, Shaq helped the Lakers in winning three consecutive NBA Championships and started to make a case for himself as one of the best players of all time.
Shaquille O'Neal Believes Michael Jordan Is The GOAT
Considering the fact that O'Neal was one of the best players of his generation and is now a highly respected analyst, fans respect his opinion. Keeping that in mind, Shaq was recently asked about his opinion on who the GOAT of basketball was.

"Oh yeah, Michael Jordan is."
Shaq was also asked which is the strongest team that he played for, "Lakers. Yeah, the three-peat years. The three-peat years and the year that we could have gotten number four, but we lost to Detroit. So those were my best years."
This is not the first time that Shaq has picked MJ as the GOAT, he said something similar a couple of years back as well.
On the same note, a few months ago, O'Neal picked his 2001 Lakers over even the 2017 Golden State Warriors. It's obvious that he thinks highly of his time with the Purple and Gold.
