Bam Adebayo is one of the best centers in the game today, and he is well known for being a “swiss-knife” type of player. He has a versatile skillset and is capable of guarding all five positions, rebounding well for his size, playmaking, and scoring at the rim. As of right now, Bam Adebayo is averaging 21.5 PPG, 9.9 RPG, and 3.2 APG for the Miami Heat.

Even though he is clearly a fantastic player, it seems as though the Miami Heat have some concerns about Bam Adebayo. A recent report from Jack Simone of Heavy revealed that the Miami Heat are frustrated with the star’s inconsistency.

But you know, at the same time, there is some frustration within the team that he is not the consistent star they think he should be. When he is aggressive and playing like he thinks he’s the best guy on the floor, forget it, he is a Top 10 or 15 player. You just don’t get that version of him game in and game out.

It is true that there are times when Bam Adebayo is passive on the offensive side of the ball. However, the star has been doing a good job addressing this issue as of late, putting up 27.0 PPG in his last four games. There’s no doubt that the Miami Heat will need Bam Adebayo to play at an All-NBA level if they are to get far in the Eastern Conference, and hopefully, his stellar offensive play continues.

The Miami Heat Could Add Reinforcements

Even though the Miami Heat have some talent on the squad as of right now, they could potentially seek to add reinforcements in the future. A previous report suggested that they could end up trading for Knicks guard Derrick Rose.

For the Knicks, his presence was greatly missed last season as he only appeared in 26 games due to injuries. Going into this season, it looked like he was going to be playing a bit more, but he’s only appeared in 25 games and only averages 13 minutes a game when he does play. Despite that, he could be a good fit for the Heat due to the concerns over aging guard Kyle Lowry.

“Miami is a team to look at there, they’re not confident that Kyle Lowry will be healthy in the playoffs, and they’ve had interest in Rose before,” the executive told Deveney.

Derrick Rose could certainly be a good addition to the squad coming off the bench, and at times filling in as the starter. It is clear that the Miami Heat are looking for another difference-maker offensively, as they have also had an interest in D’Angelo Russell.

Hopefully, we see the Miami Heat continue to improve as a squad. They are currently in the 7th seed in the East after a slow start, and they are a prime candidate to have a winning run during the second half of the season.
