Michael Jordan is one of the fiercest competitors in NBA history, always taking his challenges with the utmost respect and seriousness, doing everything he could to beat whoever was in front of him. His Airness had to fight hard to become who he is right now, showing a huge desire to win and a willingness to push everybody to the next level to reach his goal.

Just like him, we can find other athletes who have that same desire to win and have shown time and time again that they’re not going down that easily. Tom Brady is one of the prime examples of this, as the NFL legend has always had that killer instinct inside him that makes him comparable with the GOATs of all sports, Jordan included.

So, what happens when these two get together? Besides creating a great duo, you’ll have jokes going and coming at any moment. At least that’s what happened in 2006 when Jordan and Brady teamed up in MJ’s invitational golf tournament to give fans one of the best tandems in sports history.

Tom Brady Trolls Michael Jordan’s ‘Soft Hands’ During A Golf Tournament

After the first round of the Michael Jordan Celebratory Invitational golf tournament, His Airness and TB12 were leading the pack, going six under par, surpassing big figures like Rollie Fingers, Charles Oakley, Marcus Allen, and Lawrence Taylor.

Following this round, Brady had the chance to talk about his game and how he tried to follow Jordan’s lead, claiming that the six-time NBA champions had soft hands, considering he was a big guy (0:54).

“I was just trying to follow was this guy was doing all day,” Brady said. “Yes, you played great. He hit great. For a big guy he had soft hands, so made a lot of putts and chips, it was fun.”

MJ, on the other hand, was self-critical, saying they missed some nice opportunities they shouldn’t have.

“Yeah, we missed a lot of easy putts. Whenever he was out the hole, I was able to hit some good shots and I took some pressure off him, so he could bomb it. He can hit it real long, so we missed a couple of birdies on par 5, that we think we probably should have.”

In the end, these two walked away victorious, showing why one of them was the greatest in his sport, and hinting that the other one was on that same route. Jordan and Brady have been pitted against each other in recent times, as many fans try to define who is the ultimate GOAT between them.

Instead of competing with them, Jordan has teamed up with other GOATS on different grounds, doing an excellent job demonstrating why they are so great at what they did and do.
