NBA Players And Legends React To LeBron James And The Lakers Reaching The Finals Again

2 Min Read

The Los Angeles Lakers have reached one of their goals for this season, making the NBA Finals. The Californians were the best team in the league before the suspension and when things started to look bad for them during the bubble, Frank Vogel and his pupils turned things around and now are the biggest favorites to win it all in Orlando.

Knowing the history of the Denver Nuggets this postseason, LeBron James got to work on Saturday night and dominated the Nuggets with a triple-double (38 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists) to give the Lakers a huge victory and the right to represent the Western Conference in the Finals. This is the first time in 10 years that the Lakers will play in the biggest stage of all and the ninth time LeBron James is going to play in the Finals this decade.

Of course, everybody had something to say about it and current and former NBA players took to social media to congratulate LeBron and his Lakers for this achievement.

Now it’s time to finish the job and close out a very emotional season. The Lakers have extra motivation after Kobe Bryant was killed in a fatal helicopter crash last January 26 and this season has been all about him since that day. Bron knows they still need to get past a hard team from the Eastern Conference Finals, but the Lakers are confident they can get it done and win their 17th NBA title a couple of weeks from now.
