Free agent shooting guard Lance Stephenson could be making his return to the association shortly, as the former Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers player is set to earn a spot in the league following a short stint in China.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the former second-round pick is looking for a new opportunity in the league after a season in China, where he averaged 26.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and shot 52 percent from the field.

Lance spent the first four seasons of his professional career in Indiana before signing with the Charlotte Hornets in 2014. When it didn’t work out with the Hornets, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers before getting short stints with the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
He would return to the Pacers for six games in 2017 before appearing in all 82 games for Indy in 2017-18.
Stephenson played with the Lakers last season before becoming a free agent this past summer. He signed with the Liaoning Flying Leopards in the Chinese Basketball Association. In 29 games with Liaoning, Stephenson averaged 26.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest, shooting 52.2 percent from the field, 30.0 percent from 3-point range and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line.
Haynes added that in order to prove his value, ‘Born Ready’ is willing to work out. It remains to be seen if a team wants to give him a new shot in the league, but Stephenson could be a good addition to several squads.
