Point Guards (PG)

Tyus Jones 

Tyus Jones, who last played for the Washington Wizards, is widely regarded as one of the most underrated players in the league. Known for his impeccable assist-to-turnover ratio, Jones averaged 12.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists while shooting 48.9% from the field and 41.4% from 3-point range last season. 

His previous contract was a 2-year, $29 million deal, and he is expected to seek a similar or higher offer.


Markelle Fultz 

Markelle Fultz, despite a rocky start to his NBA career, showed promise last season with the Orlando Magic. He averaged 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists, shooting 47.2% from the field and 22.2% from 3-point range.

Fultz’s last contract was a 3-year, $50 million deal, but he may find it challenging to secure a similar contract due to his inconsistent performance.


Kyle Lowry 

At 38, Kyle Lowry remains one of the reliable backup point guards in the NBA. Last season with the Sixers, he averaged 8.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists while shooting 44.4% from the field and 40.4% from 3-point range. Lowry’s last contract was a 1-year, $2.8 million deal, and he will likely expect a veteran minimum contract.


Patrick Beverley 

Patrick Beverley brings a tenacious defensive presence and averaged 6.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists while shooting 41.7% from the field and 33.7% from 3-point range for the Bucks last season. His previous contract was a 1-year, $3.2 million deal.


Spencer Dinwiddie 

After joining the Lakers on deadline day, Spencer Dinwiddie averaged 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists while shooting 39.2% from the field and 33.7% from 3-point range. His last contract was a 1-year, $1.55 million deal. Dinwiddie hopes to find a team where he can secure more playing minutes as a backup.


Shooting Guards (SG)

Gary Trent Jr. 

Gary Trent Jr. had a solid season with the Raptors, averaging 13.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while shooting 42.6% from the field and 39.3% from 3-point range. His last contract was a 3-year, $51.8 million deal. Given his performance, he is likely to attract offers in a higher range.


Malik Beasley 

Malik Beasley showcased his skills as a high-volume 3-point shooter for the Bucks, averaging 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 44.3% from the field and 41.3% from 3-point range. His previous contract was a 1-year, $2.7 million deal.

Update: Malik Beasley signs one-year, $6 million deal with the Detroit Pistons.


Luke Kennard 

Luke Kennard finished the season strong with the Grizzlies, averaging 11.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 44.8% from the field and 45.0% from 3-point range. Kennard, one of the league’s best 3-point shooters, was on a 4-year, $56 million contract and is likely to secure a similar or higher deal.


Lonnie Walker IV 

Lonnie Walker IV contributed 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 42.3% from the field and 38.4% from 3-point range for the Nets last season. His last contract was a 1-year, $2.3 million deal, and he hopes to secure a multi-year contract.


Josh Okogie 

Josh Okogie, playing for the Suns, averaged 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 41.7% from the field and 30.9% from 3-point range. His previous contract was a 2-year, $5.7 million deal. He is likely to sign a multi-year deal with the Suns or another team.


Small Forwards (SF)

DeMar DeRozan 

DeMar DeRozan, arguably the best player left in free agency, averaged 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists while shooting 48.0% from the field and 33.3% from 3-point range for the Bulls last season. DeRozan will likely sign either a one-year deal to maximize his next contract or a multi-year deal lower than the max.


Caleb Martin 

Caleb Martin averaged 10.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 43.1% from the field and 34.9% from 3-point range for the Heat. Martin opted out of his contract with the Heat and is now a free agent. His last contract was a 3-year, $20.4 million deal, and he is expected to receive a higher offer.

Update: Caleb Martin signs 4-year, $32 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. 


Issac Okoro (R)

Isaac Okoro averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 49.0% from the field and 39.1% from 3-point range for the Cavaliers. His last contract was a 4-year, $29 million deal. As a restricted free agent, the Cavaliers can match any offer he receives.


Saddiq Bey 

Saddiq Bey, playing for the Hawks, averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting 41.6% from the field and 31.6% from 3-point range. His previous contract was a 4-year, $13 million deal, and he is expected to secure a higher-range contract.


Simon Fontecchio (R) 

Simon Fontecchio averaged 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 47.9% from the field and 42.6% from 3-point range last season. Traded from the Jazz to the Pistons, his last contract was a 2-year, $6.25 million deal. As a restricted free agent, he is likely to stay with the Pistons.

Update: Simone Fontecchio signs a 2-year, $16M contract with the Detroit Pistons.


Power Forwards (PF)

Miles Bridges 

Miles Bridges, one of the best forwards in the market, averaged 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists while shooting 46.2% from the field and 34.9% from 3-point range for the Hornets last season. His last contract was a 1-year, $7.9 million deal, and he is expected to get a significant upgrade.

Update: Miles Bridges signs 3-year, $75 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets.


Precious Achiuwa 

Precious Achiuwa, playing for the Knicks, averaged 7.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 52.5% from the field. His last contract was a 4-year, $12.5 million deal.


Jae Crowder 

Jae Crowder averaged 6.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 42.2% from the field and 34.9% from 3-point range for the Bucks. His previous contract was a 1-year, $3.2 million deal.


Haywood Highsmith 

Haywood Highsmith contributed 6.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 46.5% from the field and 39.6% from 3-point range for the Heat. His last contract was a 3-year, $3.9 million deal, and he is hoping to get a similar range.


Trendon Watford (R) 

Trendon Watford averaged 6.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 52.7% from the field and 39.7% from 3-point range for the Nets. His last contract was a 1-year, $2 million deal. As a restricted free agent, the Nets can match any offer he receives.


Centers (C)

Chimezie Metu 

Chimezie Metu had his best season to date, averaging 10.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 50.0% from the field and 30.2% from 3-point range for the Pistons. His last contract was a 2-year, $2.9 million deal, and he will be hoping for an upgrade.


Dario Saric 

Dario Saric averaged 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting 46.6% from the field and 37.6% from 3-point range for the Warriors. His previous contract was a 1-year, $2.7 million deal.


Daniel Theis 

Daniel Theis, playing for the Clippers, averaged 6.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists while shooting 53.2% from the field and 36.6% from 3-point range. His last contract was a 1-year, $2.2 million deal.


Sandro Mamukelashvili (R) 

Sandro Mamukelashvili averaged 4.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 47.1% from the field and 29.7% from 3-point range for the Kings. His last contract was a 1-year, $2 million deal.


Mike Muscala 

Mike Muscala averaged 3.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.7 assists while shooting 35.9% from the field and 29.2% from 3-point range while playing for the Pistons, Wizards, and Thunder. His last contract was a 1-year, $808,297 deal.


These players represent the best available talent in free agency across all positions. As teams look to fill gaps in their rosters, these free agents provide valuable options to enhance team performance in the upcoming NBA season.
