Udonis Haslem might just have landed some of his former Miami Heat teammates in a bit of trouble. Recently on The OGs Show, Haslem revealed that in 2013, he and his Heat teammates celebrated Christmas at Tootsie’s Cabaret, the largest strip club in the world.

“We had a team Christmas party at Tootsie’s,” Haslem said. “… We decided to do something a little different that year. So, all the guys got together for a team Christmas party at Tootsie’s and we traded gifts.”

“That was one of those situations where we just needed a little curveball,” Haslem stated. “Yeah, it was one of those things where the season gets a little long, and it gets a little stressful. We were one of the more highly televised teams in the NBA… We just needed a little team bonding.”

“As a team, being on TV every day, being the most scrutinized team every single day, taking on the LeBron James effect every single day— that s*** got to be a lot for us as a team,” Haslem added. “… One of the thing I did learn from Bron is that spending time together as a team off the basketball court, that s*** is just as important as showing up every day for practice.”

“That was one of the ways we decided to do it that time and I don’t feel bad about it goddamn it,” Haslem concluded.

I suppose when there is so much pressure on a group, they need to find different ways to blow off some steam. I am not sure the wives or girlfriends of those players would have been all that pleased to hear they went to a strip club, though.

NBA fans on social media were quick to point out that LeBron James might have some explaining to do to his wife Savannah after Haslem made these comments. They had gotten married in Sept. 2013, just a few months before this strip club visit, and you’d think this revelation wouldn’t have sat too well with her.

As for that Heat team, well, the strip club visit didn’t end up inspiring them to victory. They were going for the three-peat in the 2013-14 campaign but lost in five games to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.

Udonis Haslem Recounted His Horrific Nightlife Experience In Portland

While Haslem appears to have had a blast at strip clubs in Miami, he didn’t have a lot of fun when he stepped out at night in Portland. In this episode, he recounted his terrible experience in the area.

“I have been there (Portland),” Haslem said. “I have seen your out life. I have seen your nightlife. Ain’t a motherf****** thing going on where you had to rush that man (Greg Oden) from New York to get to see that s***.

“I caught myself trying to go out to grab a drink with Goran Dragic one time in Portland,” Haslem continued. “That’s the scariest s*** I ever seen — like from ‘X Files.’ Scared the s*** out of me… Scary out there man. You think you finna stop and get a drink, you in for some s*** from ‘Walking Dead.’ I’m like, ‘Hold on man, everybody can’t look like this.'”

Safe to say, Haslem stayed in his room from then on whenever the team had to go to Portland. I bet he was thanking his lucky stars that he had spent his entire career with the Heat, and not the Trail Blazers.
