Things got out of hand when Brooks insulted James after winning Game 2 of the series. Before the start of Game 3, James was seen talking to Brooks. James certainly got inside Brooks’ head, and the results were evident in Game 3. Brooks recorded just 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal before getting ejected from the game. He also shot just 3-13 from the field in 19 minutes of action.
Brooks was ejected for committing a flagrant 2 foul when he hit LeBron in the groin area. All things considered, James has messed up with Brooks’ confidence, and it is obvious from his poor performances.

When Brooks was ejected from Game 3, there was a looming concern that the Grizzlies forward would receive a suspension for his actions.
