Rookie Jaxson Hayes Was Pissed Off For Not Making The Rising Stars: “NBA Can Really * * ** For All I Care. And I Hope Y’All See This Video By The Way, Fine Me”

The NBA Rising Stars game is intended to feature the league’s best young players. This season, with a roster of Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Zion Williamson, and Trae Young, it’s clear that the NBA is in good hands for the next few years to come.

But did the NBA miss someone?

Pelicans Rookie Jaxson Hayes was extremely upset upon finding out he would not play in the rising stars game, and took to social media to relay this NSFW message o the NBA:

“NBA can really suck my d**k for all I care. And I hope y’all see this video by the way, fine me.” for not making the Rising Stars team.”

In the video, Hayes says the league is all about politics, seemingly as a way to explain his absence. He later issued an apology to the league and fans for his language in the video:

“I want to apologize for my actions today,” he wrote in a post on his Instagram account. “I used extremely poor judgment and inexcusable language in a moment of frustration. In no way does what I said represent who I am!

“I’m extremely blessed and grateful to play in the NBA, represent the New Orleans Pelicans and make my family and friends proud. I would never do anything to jeopardize the opportunity I have to play the game I love and have a positive impact on others.”

The problem with. these types of reactions is that there will always be someone who feels that they are snubbed. For Jaxson, it’s not like his performance warrants an instant entry, even if he is averaging over 8 points per game on 66% shooting.

There’s always next year, Rook.
