In the Lakers’ first game since the death of superstar Kobe Bryant, we were all reminded just how much he will be missed.
It was a time full of tears, memories, and emotions as people all around the community continue to mourn the death of Kobe Bryant. In her most recent Instagram post, Bryant’s wife Vanessa made sure to illuminate the love he had for his daughters more than anything else.

More than anything, Kobe was a Father. His love for his daughters transcended that of basketball, of business, or anything else. Kobe Bryant was a family man, and the same way he poured himself on the basketball court, he poured himself into his family.
In essence, Kobe died being the one thing he loved above all else: a Father. Vanessa’s Instagram message was just another reminder of that love.
And though many are missing the Mamba tremendously, none are feelings his absence more than Vanessa, Bianka, Natalia, and Capri. Our thoughts and prayers are with them through this unbelievably tough time.
