The 2023 NBA Draft seemed like quite a deep one and there’s a good chance we look back on it years later, as the day when some of the biggest names in basketball entered the league.

They aren’t celebrities just yet though but on draft night, some of them were asked which celebrity they would take out on a date if given the chance and we got some interesting responses.

Brandon Miller went with model and musician Rubi Rose, while Scoot Henderson picked film star Zendaya. Cason Wallace and Rayan Rupert, meanwhile, went with some icons, choosing Rihanna and Beyonce respectively. Rapper and singer Latto was the only one to be picked twice, with Dereck Lively and Anthony Black going with her.

Jett Howard and Jalen Hood-Schifino seem to be committed and they wisely chose to not give an answer, or else they might have been in for a bit of trouble. As for Victor Wembanyama, he isn’t picking any celebrity, as it looks like he’d rather just go to dinner with his mother, Elodie de Fautereau.

The Top Prospects Also Made Their Pick Between Michael Jordan And LeBron James

There were a whole of questions for the prospects to answer on draft night and it was inevitable they’d be asked to pick between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Interestingly, only Hood-Schifino, Howard, and Black went with Jordan, as Wembanyama, Miller, Henderson, Rupert, Lively, Wallace, and Gradey Dick all picked LeBron. It really just speaks to James’ impact on this generation of players.

Seven of the prospects were also asked to give their all-time starting lineups and the only player to make it to all seven of them was LeBron. Unfortunately for James, all this respect leads to a target on his back too, as several prospects also chose him as the player they want to dunk on the most.
