The playful jab was accompanied by the background track “BBL Drizzy,” a diss song by record producer Metro Boomin. The song references rumors about Drake allegedly getting a Brazilian butt lift, a claim made by Rick Ross.

The image depicted Shaq in blue floral bikini bottoms, holding a bikini-clad Drake by the buttocks, making it clear where Shaq’s loyalties lie in the rap beef. This was not the first instance of O’Neal showing support for Kendrick Lamar.

On June 30, the NBA legend attended “The Pop Out: Ken and Friends,” Lamar’s one-night show in Los Angeles, which featured several big names, including LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and DeMar DeRozan.

BBL Drizzy, the track playing in the background of Shaq’s post, was released by Metro Boomin in May. This exchange highlights the tension between the artists and how their industry peers have taken sides.

Overall, Shaq’s social media posts and public appearances signal his clear support for Kendrick Lamar in the ongoing rivalry with Drake, showcasing how the feud has transcended the music industry and captured the attention of prominent sports figures.

Snoop Dogg, despite being in Canada, sent a heartfelt message to Kendrick Lamar, applauding his ability to bring people together and bestowing upon him the title of “king of the West.” Snoop Dogg emphasized the significance of unity and peace, praising Lamar for organizing such a harmonious event. His message highlighted Lamar’s leadership and influence in the West Coast hip-hop scene.
