Skip Bayless After Lakers Lost To Mavericks: “Enough Vacation, LeBron. Save Your Squad.”

2 Min Read

Skip Bayless doesn’t miss a chance to diss LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers and following their defeat to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, the controversial analyst once again fired at the King and his team, saying they aren’t as good as they were in 2020.

The Lakers are the current NBA champions and plenty of people see them as the biggest candidate to win the Larry O’Brien trophy this campaign but that is as long as they have Anthony Davis and Bron playing at the best level. It seems like Bayless lowkey thinks the same, as he sent a message to LeBron, asking him to stop his ‘vacations’ and come save his squad.

“The Lakers just blew a 17-point first-half lead, lost the 4th quarter 29-14 and lost at Dallas by 15. AD cold again (5-19, 0-6 from three). Enough vacation, LeBron. Save your squad. It isn’t as good as it was last season,” Bayless tweeted after the Lakers were defeated by the Mavericks for the second consecutive game.

This is a little bit insensitive by Bayless knowing that LeBron is sidelined with an injury, not missing time because he simply wants to. He suffered a high ankle sprain a month ago and the Lakers have been 6-13 without him on the court.

Anthony Davis returned Thursday vs. the Mavs but this team still needs to figure things out before being the threat they were prior to AD and LeBron’s injuries. Once they are back, this team will be a menace again and everybody, including Bayless, will be worried about what they can do in the playoffs.
