- Stephen A. Smith threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Yankees game this week
- The pitch didn’t reach the catcher, and Snoop Dogg was among the people roasting Smith for it
- Stephen A. Smith also got flamed by Steve Harvey, his sister, and his ESPN colleagues
Stephen A. Smith is known for his opinionated takes on NBA stars and other major athletes on ESPN. But Smith couldn’t get the job done when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Yankee Stadium earlier this week.

The ball bounced on its way to the catcher, and naturally, people roasted Stephen A. for the poor throw. Snoop Dogg was one of those people, and he left a hilarious message for Stephen A. that was shared on national television.
“Stephen A. Smith, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for that pitch,” Snoop Dogg said. “There is not one athletic bone in your body. That looked more like a bounce pass in basketball. You need some help, brother. Molly, can you help him? Somebody.”

Stephen A. Smith is often the person doing the roasting in these situations and he has not been spared by anyone thanks to that. Snoop Dogg was far from the only person to call him out.
Steve Harvey And Stephen A. Smith’s Sister Also Trolled Him
Stephen A. Smith is the face of ESPN at this point and as such, many prominent personalities know about him. Comedian Steve Harvey is one of those people, and he decided to join the roasting too.
“The embarrassment that has been heaped upon me. You know how many calls I did took from my frat brothers saying, ‘Hey man, that Stephen A., your boy, yeah can’t.’ Stephen A. Smith, I love you dawg, but I cannot believe what I saw.”

And if it weren’t enough, all these celebrities are roasting Stephen A. Smith, he was also on the receiving end of some trolling from his sister.
“Oh my god, Steve, I taught you better than that,” Smith’s sister Carmen said on First Take. “I had to look over again, ‘Did he just do that?’
“And hearing that you had a hot dog? When I send you full? You had a hot dog? I think that throw, you had to pass gas or something.”

The trolling has been ruthless for Stephen A. Smith and has continued throughout the evening. Even though it’s not something that has much to do with the NBA, Smith has lost a bit of credibility after this entire hilarious fiasco.
Stephen A. Smith’s Basketball Averages In College Have Gotten Him Roasted Before
There’s no requirement that one has to be good at basketball or sports to talk about them. Stephen A. Smith’s journalism experience more than qualifies him to debate and discuss the NBA and other major leagues.
But this isn’t the first time that he has been flamed for not being good at sports himself. Malika Andrews once shared his college scoring averages on ESPN to make fun of the iconic television personality.
Stephen A. Smith averaged 1.5 points per game and that got him tolled quite a bit. He later said this wasn’t true because injuries stopped him from playing at all, but that didn’t stop the trolls on social media.
With the new NBA season coming up, Stephen A. Smith will be preparing his incendiary takes already, but it wouldn’t be surprising if a star player or two doesn’t throw that pitch back in his face when he does criticize them.
