Spencer Dinwiddie was in no mood to relent when addressing his Twitter feud with former teammate Kyle Kuzma.
Speaking on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back. Dinwiddie looked back at the players’ shots and responded: “You know that you are there, shooting shots to try to get a contract. You’re probably not even a third star really on a good team, because if you were, the Lakers would have kept you.”

And as if that wasn’t enough, he also referenced Draymond Green’s “Insecurity” tweet that the former used to take a dig at Rudy Gobert earlier this week.
“What’s that thing Draymond (Green) just said, where he said ‘insecurity is loud,’” Dinwiddie said.
“Basically, here’s what happened. We lost to them, I was on the Mavericks. Obviously, we have an MVP-caliber guy and we’re trying to be a championship-caliber team… so I make a statement about we need to be better. Understanding the culture and how games are kind of played in D.C., saying that’s an unacceptable loss in that fashion. He decides to respond because I guess he felt like it was a shot at him.”
Then came another dig, and this Dinwiddie was not pulling any punches. “I wanted to respond,” Spencer Dinwiddie continued. “My agent told me to stand down… now I’m not in that environment, I’m in the playoffs, he’s not.”
The Nets were one of the teams that went through a massive mid-season rebuild after losing out Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns, respectively.
And while many speculated that the new-look team would blow away the hard work they had done in the initial stages, the outfit stuck to their guns and made the postseason with a 45-37 record.
Kyle Kuzma’s Future With The Washington Wizards Continues To Remain Uncertain
His beef with Dinwiddie aside, Kyle Kuzma’s tenure with the Washington Wizards is pretty much up in the air at this stage.
The forward has been a vital component in the Wizards unit this season averaging 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, but it wasn’t enough as Washington bowed out of the playoffs race in the East with a 12th-place finish and a dismal 35-47 record.
Earlier, he made it clear that a potential move wouldn’t be for money. “I’m just trying to be myself. I’m trying to get better every year. It’s not about money, I’m going to get paid regardless anywhere [I go] and here, too,” he said, via Chase Hughes of NBC Sports.
“It’s about whether can I come into work every day and be the best version of myself, can I help lead guys, can I make other players better, can I light up rooms. All those things matter when you’re trying to be successful,” he added.
There have been speculations of Kuzma leaving the Wizards during the summer, and he has been linked to a few teams, most notably his former side, the Lakers. Only time will tell if Kuzma finds himself back with LA.
