Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter that we have ever seen, and it’s not really close, even if some try to make a case against him. Curry has revolutionized the game by putting on full display the potency of the three-point shot, which has helped him win 4 NBA titles, a Finals MVP, and 2 MVP awards.
Name a three-point record, and he has probably shattered it at this point. He holds 4 of the top 5 spots for three-pointers made in a season and is the only player to have ever connected on over 400 threes in a season, which he did in his unanimous MVP campaign in 2015-16. His 22 games with at least 10 threes are also well clear of the competition as his teammate Klay Thompson is second with just 5, and we can keep going with some of these records here.
The most significant of all the records came last season when he went past Ray Allen for the most made three-pointers in the history of the league and with the way he is going, no one is going to even come close to eclipsing him in the future.
While he has taken them at a very high clip, Curry has obviously made them at a great clip, too, and his efficiency up to this point has been so good, that even if he somehow goes on to miss his next 500 three-pointers, he would still be shooting over 40% for his career.

Curry, for his career, shoots 42.76% from beyond the arc as he has sunk 3,117 of them from 7,290 attempts, and even if he misses the next 500, it would still be 40.01% which is just amazing.
