Draymond Green responded to Jordan Poole’s father, Anthony, on Twitter following the latter’s lash-out at the seasoned Golden State Warriors veteran.

“That’s so cute… it’s impossible to avoid you an arena for a year champ. I got to get my family from that family room every game. And stop using those words, they usually don’t go over well amongst men.”

Green’s comments stem after Poole’s father slammed him on Twitter. “I’m standing on this, that is some BS. JP (Jordan Poole) was his guy and he avoided me all of last year. He is a soft ass b*tch and I’m standing on this, and he didn’t apologize to me and my wife. So, he’s lame, and me and him can meet anytime he wants.”

Green and Poole’s locker room dust-up was one of the main headlines ahead of the start of this past season, and while one would have thought the beef would have ended after the latter’s move to the Washington Wizards, it appears the bad blood is far from done.

Watch Out For The Washington Wizards vs. Golden State Warriors In The 2023-24 Season

Expect fireworks when the Wizards and the Warriors play in the upcoming season. With both Poole and Green known to be fiery personalities, plus the media hype on their punch-up leading up to the contest, the fireworks will be for real.

On his part, Poole appears to have nothing to do with the Green incident and he made those intentions very clear.

When the newly-minted Wizards guard was asked if he had heard from Green after he was traded, Poole absolutely refused to answer. He instead focused on the future with Washington.

“We’re in Washington now,” Poole said. “Playing with [Kyle Kuzma], great duo. Being able to really flourish, expand your game and help a new team. Help lead an entire group of guys, it’s a challenge that we’re up for… everybody’s locked in, wants to be here, start something that we can have that can be special.”

As NBA fans, we cannot wait to see the Wizards play the Warriors. It’ll be fun to watch, indeed.
