The Los Angeles Lakers Bus Left The Arena Without Quinn Cook: “Gotta Walk Back After I Win A F—ing Ring WTF”

2 Min Read

The Los Angeles Lakers had a big night on Sunday night after winning their first NBA championship since 2010 (17th in franchise history), tying the Boston Celtics as the biggest winners in NBA history. They were so immersed in their celebrations that even forgot one of their players at the arena following the 106-93 victory over the Miami Heat to finish the series in six games.

While the rest of the team was on the bus, ready to go, Quinn Cook was nowhere to be found. However, not everybody was aware of that and Cook let them know they were forgetting him. During JR Smith’s Instagram Live, the guard was trying to get his teammate’s attention but his attempts were useless.

“Make a Uturn,” Cook commented.

“Gotta walk back after I win a f*cking ring,” he added.

It’s unclear what happened before this moment, but Cook wasn’t happy with the situation. The jokes at the hotel must have been glorious as well as Cook’s face after walking back to the place where all his teammates were already celebrating. Well, since he didn’t play much time during the series, this was probably the way the Lakers found to make him finally sweat.

These things happen, but this has to be one of the funniest anecdotes in the bubble.
