LeBron James' Coach And Teammates Call Him The GOAT After Winning 4th NBA Championship

Everybody was in awe with LeBron James after he closed out the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the Finals to win his 4th NBA title and give the 17th championship to the Los Angeles Lakers, 10 years after they won the 16th led by Kobe Bryant. James made a great impression on Sunday night and his legacy is even bigger now.

James revealed that proving the doubters wrong always fuels him and that was his biggest inspiration entering the season. Prior to this campaign, plenty of people believe he was done, called him a 'washed King' and many more names. Bron took all of that for inspiration and these are the results.

“Thinking I have something to prove fuels me,” James said, via Sports Illustrated. “It fueled me over this last year and a half since the injury. It fueled me because no matter what I've done in my career to this point, there's still little rumblings of doubt or comparing me to the history of the game and has he done this, has he done that. So having that in my head, having that in my mind, saying to myself, why not still have something to prove, I think it fuels me.”

His teammates and coaches were the first ones to praise the King, calling him the greatest to ever do it following a great season with the purple and gold. LeBron showed that he is still the top dog in the league at the age of 35, playing his 17th season in the association. This man is not normal and of course a lot of people think he is the greatest player that ever stepped foot on an NBA court.

“If you take this bubble experience, we have 17 players, he was committed to keeping all of those guys as a unit as one entire time,” said Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka. “The amount of energy he invests in bringing his teammates together and keeping them focused on a common goal is unbelievable.”

He really turned things around for the Lakers. Last year they couldn't even make it to the postseason and now they are the rulers of the league.

“You think you know but you don't know until you're around him every day, you're coaching him, you're seeing his mind, you're seeing his adjustments, seeing the way he leads the group,” Vogel said. “Every damn day in film he's leading the charge with getting our team better.”

Said Markieff Morris, “The type of leader that LeBron is for this team is unreal.”

Added Kyle Kuzma, “He's one of the greatest leaders in sports.”

LeBron keeps making history in the NBA. He is established as one of the greatest players in NBA history and he doesn't want to stop until he ties the great Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. Even if he doesn't do it, Bron is already considered the GOAT by plenty of fans.
