Trae Young had a crisp and exciting positive response to the possibility of playing alongside LeBron James and his son, Bronnyin 2024 for the Atlanta Hawks.

A mock draft showed the Hawks getting Bronny in their ranks to which James had an emphatic reply. And on his part, Young had a solid response as well:

Ideally, the team-up depends on what the Hawks decide on draft night. If James is indeed serious with his words of the gang pulling up to Atlanta, then drafting Bronny would also mean getting hold of the four-time champion.

Not to forget, James has a player option for the 2024-25 season, which means he can opt out of his contract with the Lakers in the 2024 offseason and sign with the Hawks if he intends to play with his son.

This Might Be A Dream Come True For LeBron James

LeBron James has constantly reiterated that he wants to play with his son Bronny in the NBA, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s on the same team or a different one.

“I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny,” James said, per Sports Illustrated.

“Either in the same uniform or a matchup against him,” he said. “. . . But I would love to do the whole Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. thing. That would be ideal for sure.”

And he didn’t rule out the chance of playing with his other son, Bryce either. But it was a question of whether his body would hold up.

“I feel like I could play for quite a while. So it’s all up to the body, but more importantly, my mind,” he said. “If my mind can stay sharp and fresh and motivated, then the sky’s not even the limit for me. I can go beyond that. But we shall see.”

There’s no doubt that the idea of the James’s playing together in the NBA will be fun to watch. And even more, if they could go on and win a title together. But much is up in the air now.
