It’s finally official, LeBron James has scored more points than any other player in NBA history. LeBron’s incredible longevity has finally taken him to the top of the all-time scoring list, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the 7th of February, 2023.

LeBron James‘ incredible ability to score is often doubted by people, with many suggesting that he’s not a great scorer. He may not be the most efficient shooter from range, but LeBron can score at every level at a very high rate. The shot that he used to break Kareem’s record was an excellent example, burying a midrange fadeaway to make history

His bag is a lot deeper than people like to give him credit for, in fact, he even has a deep three-pointer that he uses as a heat check and to bury teams after great runs. There’s no doubt that a lot of LeBron James’ points have come from attacking the rim over the court of his career, but no player can become the leading scorer in NBA history without doing it from nearly every spot on the floor.

Amazing Video Shows Where Exactly LeBron James Made Every Shot From That Helped Him Get 38,388 Points

NBA Fans are obsessed with statistics, and it’s understandable the game within the game is always fun to watch. So after LeBron James surpassed the all-time tally, people were quickly breaking down exactly how he managed to do it. And one video shows where he took the shots from that helped him reach this milestone.

A deep concentration of points in the paint and points from the free throw line is to be expected, but LeBron’s greatness is apparent, thanks to the fact that there is almost no area in the offensive part of the court that he hasn’t made a shot from. It’s amazing to see how far he has come.

He scored two more points after he crossed the record as well and will cross 38,400 points in his next game. The numbers themselves are mind-boggling.

LeBron James’ achievements will be broken down a lot more as the season carries on and the NBA world fully processes the enormity of what he is still doing at this age. The immediate focus will shift to a more pertinent matter at hand, and that is how he and the Lakers are able to do moving forward.
