The first two days of NBA All-Star weekend may have been the best we’ve seen in years. After both of Friday’s games came down to the wire, fans got to enjoy the highly anticipated three-point and slam-dunk contests which ended up going down as a major win for the NBA.

As usual, Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was. part of many activities throughout the weekend, including as a coach in the celebrity game and, more importantly, as a hype man for the contest participants.

On Twitter this Sunday, hours ahead of the All-Star game, Giannis took to Twitter to share his experience with the fans, which he captured from his phone as it was going down.

Giannis was the leading vote-getter in the East this year, which is not surprising at all to anyone who’s been paying attention. Despite limited media coverage and a lack of regular headlines, Antetokounmpo has become an undeniable force in the NBA with averages of 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game on 53.8% shooting and an elite defense to match.

Thankfully, Giannis also happens to be willing to let loose and have fun during the All-Star break, and his participation in various events over the years has set him apart from other top-level stars.

Can Giannis And The Bucks Make A Run To The Finals This Year?

As one of the top players in the world, the Greek Freak faces constant pressure to perform and is the first one blamed when his team fails to meet expectations.

Still, he finds a way to fight through the noise and makes it a point to take joy in his craft and have fun while he’s on the floor.

“I don’t care about that. I only care about winning. I only care about having fun, I want to enjoy the game. I want to be healthy. I want to compete in a high level for as many years as I have left and I want to go back home to my kids and enjoy my time with my kids.”

Interestingly, Giannis had the Bucks rolling before the All-Star break. Winners of 12 straight games, Milwaukee has climbed back to within half a game of the Celtics. They have established themselves again as one of the bonafide title favorites.

So we can only expect the Bucks to continue their dominance when the season resumes late this week. But, until then, Giannis is going to make sure he enjoys himself before the grind picks back up again.
