Goran Dragic is without a doubt one of the most experienced players in the NBA. He has spent years with one of the best franchises in the league, the Miami Heat, and has also played for many years for the Slovenian national team on the international stage.

This summer, Goran Dragic was competing in the EuroBasket tournament until Slovenia’s recent elimination in their game against Poland. Despite the team losing, it seems as though Goran Dragic still managed to have a moment of individual brilliance.

Goran Dragic Pulled Off A Cheeky Move, Inbounding The Ball Off A Defender And Scoring A Layup

A video has recently surfaced that featured Goran Dragic inbounding the ball off a defender’s back, and scoring a layup before anyone could stop him. It is clear that nobody expected this to happen, which just shows Goran Dragic’s amazing knowledge of basketball and his elite game sense.

Unfortunately, despite Goran Dragic’s experience, the Slovenian national team was unable to advance further in the EuroBasket. Hopefully, they are able to win their next international tournament.

This summer, Goran Dragic signed with the Chicago Bulls. Having him on the roster could potentially alleviate some of the offensive problems that will come with Lonzo Ball being out to start the season. Dragic is a capable scorer, floor spacer, and facilitator. Dragic previously explained that he joined the Chicago Bulls due to the team offering him a big role, as he is not ready to “sit on the bench in a cheerleading role”.

We were in talks with Dallas. They made an offer but I decided not to take it. They wanted me to play 1 game and then sit for the next 5. I know I can still easily play 20 minutes per game. I’m not ready to retire and just sit on the bench in a cheerleading role.

Hopefully, we see Goran Dragic thrive with the Chicago Bulls next season. They should be a solid playoff team for the foreseeable future, due to the presence of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan on the roster. Dragic could potentially be a valuable piece for the team come playoff time due to his skill set and experience.

Of course, the Eastern Conference will be tough next season with teams like the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks aiming for the Finals. However, if the Bulls get a lucky break or two, they could definitely make a deep run.
