Charles Barkley Destroys Draymond Green For His “Triple Single” Average This Season

2 Min Read

As a player and, now, as an analyst, Charles Barkley has never been one to mince words. He says what he thinks and means what he says and it can often come off as very harsh.

One of those moments came again from Barkley recently. Ahead of the Warriors’ duel with the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Chuck pointed out how quiet the usually barking Draymond has been in light of his rather underwhelming season.

The “triple single” Charles refers to here is no doubt pointing back to Draymond’s season averages. Without Steph, Klay, and Durant, the 3x All-Star is averaging just 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.

To make matters worse, his team has been unable to stay relevant in light of the loss of their backcourt duo. the Warriors are a league-worst 9-34 through 43 games and are currently in the midst of a 10-game losing streak.

Draymond has been dead quiet this season, probably knowing that his famous trash talk would fall on deaf ears anyway.

So, Chuck isn’t exactly wrong with his statement. But you can bet that the second Golden State starts winning again, he’ll be right back to his old ways.
