Devin Booker Reacts To Draymond Green Wanting Him To Be Traded From The Suns

On the outside looking in on the Orlando festivities, Draymond Green has joined TNT’s “Inside the NBA” crew to talk about all things ball. Unfortunately, due to his comments about Suns guard Devin Booker, he has already gotten himself into hot water for tampering.

The NBA issued a $50,000 fine and Booker himself made some comments in response to Draymond’s insistence that he leave the Suns.

“I feel like that’s important for this organization, for the fans that have stuck by us for this long and still do so,” Booker said when asked about Green’s comments, via Nick Friedell of ESPN. “Since I’ve been in Phoenix, we haven’t had the win success that we had, but the support’s been there. And this is what we owe to the fans, we owe to the organization. It’s been a long time for us and I think this bubble opportunity was big for us, and we’re taking advantage of it.”

Booker is just 23-years-old and has shown no indication of wanting to leave Phoenix. And while their struggles have been well documented, they deserve a lot of credit for their performance in the bubble so far.

They’ve won all five games so far, and sit as the only unbeaten team in the NBA since official action began in Orlando.

Draymond and others will continue to preach that he leaves, but it seems that Book still has a lot of unfinished business with the Suns and you shouldn’t expect his departure any time soon.
