A leaked video has given fans insight into what happened on the court during the Warriors vs. Wolves scuffle that left three players ejected from last night’s game. The leaked video has clear audio which allows us to make out what was being said on the court.

The video shows Klay Thompson grabbing Jaden McDaniels, before McDaniels retaliates, prompting Draymond Green to complain to the referee. As Rudy Gobert attempts to restrain Klay for not letting go of Jaden, Draymond comes in to choke Gobert while taunting him. For some reason, Klay was surprised he was ejected at the end of the altercations.

Draymond Green: “How’s that allowed?”

Jaden McDaniels: “Get off me.”

Draymond Green: “What the f**k is wrong with you (to Gobert)? You’re a f***ing pu**y.”

Klay Thompson (in response to ejection): “How? What the f**k did I do?”

The league saying that Gobert was a peacemaker in this interaction isn’t the strongest argument, as even I would’ve thought to go after him if I saw him restraining one of my teammates. But with multiple viewings of the video, it’s clear that Gobert wasn’t trying to harm Klay. The same can’t be said about Draymond, who looked to genuinely choke Gobert out while cussing at him.

Thankfully, nobody ended up getting hurt. Thompson, McDaniels, and Gobert were hit with fines for their involvement while Green was given a five-game suspension, one that even the NBA has openly said is related to Green’s reputation as a dirty player.

Patrick Beverley Calls Out Former Teammate For Not Defending Gobert

Patrick Beverley was one of the key enforcers on this Wolves squad in 2021-22 when they broke a playoff drought to finally return to the postseason. His involvement has been cited by many as one of the crucial factors that helped the Wolves become a winning team, but Beverley is not happy with the players he used to call teammates.

Beverley called out Karl-Anthony Towns for not coming to the aid of his center. Beverley boldly claimed that he taught KAT better than that and that nobody will take him seriously in the playoffs because they saw him not do anything while his teammate got choked.

“KAT bogus man, straight up. And Ant was back there too. … I see KAT doing a mean mug face, but then you ain’t doing s***! Choke Draymond back… So now if I’m Draymond, I’m like, ‘Yeah I choke they center and they homies didn’t do anything. If we play in the playoffs, KAT I ain’t worried about you, you didn’t even help your homie.’ KAT, nah f*** that. I taught you better than that.”

Towns made the right decision by not going after Green, as the Warriors ended up blowing a double-digit lead late in the game because of Towns’ excellent offensive night. He scored over 30 points and was completely unstoppable, showing that the team needed him to keep his cool and not get ejected. Many players would pick their pride over wins, as Green did in this case, But most would sacrifice anything for the game, and KAT sacrificed getting his lick back to keep the Wolves on a six-game win streak.
