YouTuber Adin Ross slammed Ja Morant after the Memphis Grizzlies guard was seen flashing his gun for the second time resulting in another murky controversy.

“Lock him up! He’s a thug! Lock him up! Put him in f**king prison! Solitary confinement! Put him in there! Put him in f**king jail!” Ross said on Twitter.

He further added: “Take number one. First of all, this is a good friend right here. This is a good friend! He hid the camera as soon as he popped the gun. You’re a good f**king friend. This guy is a real friend, I swear to god. He’s a real friend.”

“Y’all have accountability issues. Stop being f**king weird,” Ross said. “He hid it as soon as Ja popped up the gun. Listen! It doesn’t matter! Ja should not be holding a f**king gun! He’s worth tens of millions of dollars, bro!”

On his part, Ja released a statement saying, “I know I’ve disappointed a lot of people who have supported me. This is a journey and I recognize there is more work to do. My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions. I’m committed to continuing to work on myself.”

Following the second time he flashed his gun on Instagram, the news of which went viral, the Memphis Grizzlies immediately suspended Ja from all team activities.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver Weighs In On The Latest Ja Morant Controversy

Ja’s latest actions left the NBA commissioner stumped. Per ESPN, he spoke about the next steps the league would take.

“Honestly, I was shocked when I saw this weekend — that video. Now, we’re in the process of investigating it.” With Silver and the NBA investigating, it will be interesting to see what his punishment ends up being.

In the playoffs, Ja averaged 24.6 PPG, 6.8 RPG, and 7.0 APG for the Grizzlies, but was overpowered by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. While he is clearly an All-NBA-level talent earmarked for greatness, his activities will surely see the league take stern action. For now, a suspension is the most likely outcome.
