Superstar LeBron James is known for being one of the most versatile players in the game, on both ends of the floor. Though he has definitely lost some of his athleticism over the years, there’s no doubt that he is still an extremely effective player.

In these playoffs, LeBron James has taken a bit of a backseat to Anthony Davis but has still been willing to take over in big moments. In fact, the change has had some Warriors players stumped, as Draymond Green recently revealed that LeBron James had Stephen Curry trying to figure him out during the game.

“Steph said to me ‘Yo, I’m trying to figure Bron out.’ After not taking a shot for most of the first half, he ended up getting it going 21, 8, and 8… it was big, very big. Hit some big shots. Timely shots… it slowed our run down.”

There’s no question that LeBron James is known as a player that will be willing to make whatever adjustments are necessary to win the game. That includes switching his own play entirely, and it’ll be interesting to see if the Warriors can make adjustments themselves to LeBron James.

LeBron James has averaged 22.1 PPG, 10.3 RPG, and 5.1 APG for the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs thus far. Though his scoring has dipped, the star has been doing everything else, including hustle plays, and perhaps he’ll figure out his offense soon.

Draymond Green Explained How LeBron James Is Playing A Different Style Of Basketball

Previously, we saw Draymond Green explain just how different LeBron James’ current play style is from his previous teams. He pointed out that James is playing “off the ball” frequently, which differs from his ball-dominant play style in years past.

“LeBron is playing a totally different style, a totally different game than we’ve ever seen him play before,” Green said. “And it is interesting figuring it out. It’s very interesting, you are not used to seeing LeBron off the ball so much, and so I thought that was interesting and something that we’ll have to adjust to. It’s just not your typical LeBron running the show, which is a bit weird.”

It makes sense that LeBron James would be willing to concede touches to the other players on his team who can handle the ball, as he is older and is likely conserving his energy for big moments.
