Bronny James is the son of LeBron James, and there is no doubt that he is one of the most prominent high school prospects in the nation right now. There is no doubt that he has gotten a lot of attention due to his father being the most prominent superstar in the league, but he, the younger James, has a lot of potential as a player himself.

Even though Bronny James has not yet entered college, he already has some NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deals with a variety of companies. In fact, as of right now, he’s making $7.2 million from those deals, making him the highest NIL earner in the United States.

There is no doubt that Bronny James is a prominent figure, and it makes sense that he would be the highest NIL earner in the country. What is particularly impressive is that he has reached this status without playing in college yet, and one can only imagine how much more money he will get once he plays college basketball.

Thaddeus Young Previously Spoke Highly Of Bronny James’ Game

Bronny James has shown a lot of flashes at the high school level already, with his 3PT shooting and defense being a strength for him in particular. In fact, previously, we saw NBA veteran Thaddeus Young praise him, claiming that he is “solid as hell.”

“He’s solid as hell,” said Thaddeus Young. “Obviously, probably not the elite of the elite. But he’s athletic, he’s strong, he plays defense, he can shoot the ball well, he can run the point guard position, he can play off the ball. I love his game.”

We have seen plenty of good high school and college basketball players who couldn’t make it and stay in the NBA. However, that likely won’t be the case for Bronny, as his skill set suggests that he can at least be a high-level role player in the league. Teams are always looking for players who have a good sense for the game, who play defense, and who shoot, and Bronny James fits all of those categories. He is a five-star recruit now, and hopefully, he ends up at a college that can help him get better before the league.

Bronny James still has a lot of development to do as a player, and as of right now, it is not quite clear what his ceiling will be. If he continues to work hard and grow his skills, we could possibly see him become a star-level player in the league.
