Superstar LeBron James is widely considered to be the face of the Los Angeles Lakers, and they are clearly a much better team when he is on the court. The star has been sidelined for a while with a foot injury, though it seems as though he will end up returning at some point this season.

There has been a lot of speculation about a potential return for LeBron James. Recently, it was reported that LeBron James was overheard telling a Crypto.com arena worker that he will definitely be back for the playoffs.

.@mcten just said on NBA Today that LeBron will likely be re-evaluated by the Lakers on Thursday, and that he overheard LeBron telling an arena worker that he would be back for the "playoffs, for sure" as he walked out of the arena last night

There is no doubt that this is a piece of good news for Los Angeles Lakers fans. LeBron James is the key to the Lakers making a deep run in the playoffs, as what he does offensively cannot be replicated by any other member of the team. However, it is important that LeBron James take his time and recover fully, as he and the Lakers cannot afford for him to have a serious injury this close to the playoffs.

LeBron James has put up 29.5 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 6.5 APG for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Hopefully, we see James return sooner rather than later, and it will be good to see him back on the court and hooping for the Lakers.

LeBron James Could Have Went To Germany To Receive PRP Treatment

It was previously rumored that LeBron James may have gone to Germany to receive PRP treatment for his foot. It is notably the same procedure that Kobe Bryant underwent in 2013.

“Per an NBA Source, it’s possible that Lakers’ F LeBron James went to Germany to receive PRP treatment [Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy], but that procedure can now be performed in the US,” wrote Landon Buford. “According to Dennis Schroder [via @mcten], James is doing three sessions a day to try to get back on the court.”

Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schroder previously offered his comment on LeBron James’ injury recovery, noting that he can’t say too much, but adding that he knows that “German doctors” are good. It is clear that Schroder was under the impression that LeBron James was going to Germany for some sort of treatment.

We will see how LeBron James’ situation continues to develop. It will be interesting to see when exactly he returns. Perhaps it could be good for him to get in a game or two before the playoffs, but it is clear that even if he comes back during the postseason, LeBron James will be ready to perform.
