LeBron James and Michael Jordan are widely considered to be the only two players that are in contention for the NBA GOAT honor. The two have dominated at the highest level during their careers, and the debate about which of them is the better player is never-ending.

Recently, we saw LeBron James reveal through a Tweet that he had a dream about facing off against Michael Jordan. James’ former teammate Kyle Kuzma hilariously reacted to the Tweet, stating “LeSweetDreams”, clearly a play on the superstar’s name.

This is a hilarious post from Kyle Kuzma, as he is trying to troll his former teammate by joking like this. It will be interesting to see if LeBron James responds to Kuzma’s attempt at humor.

Undoubtedly, it would be amazing to see LeBron James and Michael Jordan face off against one another in a game. LeBron James notably got drafted right after Michael Jordan retired after his stint with the Washington Wizards, and one can only dream about what could have been if he had waited a year to retire.

Some Believe That LeBron James And Michael Jordan Are On The Same Level

Many consider Michael Jordan the only GOAT of basketball, but there is no doubt that LeBron James’ career has been stellar in its own way. Channing Frye recently suggested that Michael Jordan and LeBron are “1A and 1B” when it comes to the GOAT debate.

“When I say Jordan and Bron are 1A and 1B, if you can’t agree with me on that, then you just don’t like LeBron,” Frye said. “That’s just it. How are you the greatest if you aren’t number one at anything? But Jordan is number one all-time at career average scoring. If you’re not top five at multiple things, how are you the greatest at something? You may have been the best at what you did, but how are you the greatest?”

There is no question that LeBron James has a GOAT case, as his production and longevity have been unprecedented. However, a lot of people believe that Michael Jordan had the better peak, which is why they are hesitant to crown LeBron James as the GOAT.

Perhaps one day, there’ll be a player that will settle the GOAT debate once and for all by surpassing both Michael Jordan and LeBron James. However, until then, it is quite likely that these discussions will rage on among fans and analysts.
