As you might expect, fans didn’t take a liking to it. As the photo made its rounds, many fans chimed in to roast the former MVP.

It’s quite the attention-grabbing ensemble, but not exactly out of the norm for Westbrook. In fact, the guy caught a lot of heat the last time he was seen wearing a skirt.

“There’s two ways you could go,” said Kwame Brown. “You can bite the apple and wear them muthaf—ing dresses like Russell Westbrook or whatever the f-ck his name is, I don’t even wanna say his name no more. But this ain’t his first time in a dress so I don’t know why people so alarmed. He’s been wearing dresses and weird a– sh-t. Just cause this n-gga can jump high and play basketball. Not no n-gga I ever grew up and messed around with gonna be walking around in the streets with a dress on and some muthaf—ing boots and keep my respect. and say he heterosexual. Now if he gay, cool I don’t give a f-ck. But when you say you a heterosexual male and that’s what you do, then f-ck you and that’s my opinion.”

Westbrook, 33, might be at a major turning point in his career. After stints in OKC, Houston, and D.C., the 9x All-Star played for a Lakers team that fell way short of expectations. Now, many believe he could be traded within the next couple of months.

Despite all the rumors and speculation about his future, Russ is pushing through it. Last month, he erased his social media history. Today, he’s wearing a signature outfit for one of the most highly lucrative annual events in the U.S.

All things considered, it’s fair to say he’s handling his situation well enough…
