Draymond Green has been one of the cornerstones of the Golden State Warriors for a decade now. Green was the defensive enforcer for the Warriors during their dynastic years. And this season, he has played some of the best defensive basketball of his career. But there is so much more to his game, as he also runs the floor for the Warriors, something Austin Rivers believes makes Green a ‘game changer’.

Austin Rivers spoke about the impact Draymond Green has had on the first-round series between the Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors so far. Rivers admitted that Green has caused a lot of problems for the Nuggets through his play. He made sure to give props to Draymond for the work he does running the floor for the Warriors but also pointed out just how good Green has played against Nikola Jokic.

“Draymond has really been hurting us. People aren’t really noticing that. Draymond has really hurt us. He’s just controlling tempo, he’s getting them all these shots, he’s beating up Jok.”

Draymond Green has been absolutely sensational throughout the course of this series. The defense he has played against Nikola Jokic has been nothing short of spectacular, as he has neutralized the threat of the reigning MVP. On top of that, he has done an excellent job running the floor for the Golden State Warriors during this time, getting players like Jordan Poole and Stephen Curry a lot of open looks.

The Warriors will be looking to close out the series and complete the sweep of the Nuggets in Game 4. The Warriors have looked absolutely dominant during the course of this series, and many fans expect them to move to the next round within the next 2 games, as they have stifled the Nuggets.
