Kevin Durant and Paul George should have been going head-to-head in the first round of the playoffs right now, but an injury to PG13 means he won’t play in the series.

Andre Iguodala was speaking about the most talented player in the NBA on his Point Forward podcast and named both PG and KD for the honor, with Durant at one and George at two.

“When you’re selling a basketball shoe, you have to see whose game would you emulate as a hooper. Paul George is the second-most talented player in the NBA. Kevin Durant is the most talented player, I am talking about size and skill set. at Both of those guys don’t have a flaw in their basketball skill set.”

Nobody is going to dispute Kevin Durant‘s name on this because he’s truly one of the most unique players we’ve ever seen. Paul George isn’t as proficient as KD but is one of the most well-rounded players in the entire league.

A Playoff Matchup We Won’t See This Year

Durant and George should’ve been on opposite sides of the court right now in the first-round series between the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns. Unfortunately, George suffered a knee injury late in the season and is expected to miss the first round entirely. If he wants to play in the 2023 Playoffs, he has to hope his team can eliminate the Suns without him. PG13 has averaged 21.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in the playoffs in his career.

Kevin Durant came under fire for his passive play in the Suns’ Game 1 loss. Ahead of Game 2 tonight, fans expect KD to attack early and put his team in a position to win the game, as losing two games on their home court may end up being their death knell. Durant has averaged 29.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 156 games over his playoff career.
