Britney Spears Allegedly "Backhanded In The Face" By A Member Of Victor Wembanyama's Spurs Security
Pop icon Britney Spears has filed a police report after she was allegedly assaulted by a member of Victor Wembanyama's San Antonio Spurs' security. The incident occurred on Wednesday at ARIA Hotel when she visited the Catch restaurant with her husband.
Per The US Sun, Britney and her husband Sam Asghari entered the casino around 8:30 pm and were immediately surrounded by fans. They made their way to the restaurant and spotted the French phenom.
Spears, who is reportedly a fan of Wembanyama, walked over and asked if she could take a picture with the Spurs rookie.
"Britney 'tapped' Victor on his 'back and right shoulder' and according to TMZ, the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs 'instantly backhanded her.' The security's reaction 'caused her to fall to the ground' and 'knocked her glasses off.'"
In the aftermath, the singer composed herself, and the outlet was told that the security person came over to her table and apologized.
He added, "You understand how it is when you're being swarmed by fans." He apologized, and Britney accepted it.
She later filed a complaint alleging battery.
