At 38 years old, LeBron James continues to succeed at the highest levels of NBA basketball. Apparently, though, it’s just par for the course when it comes to the James family. His two sons, Bronny and Bryce, have also emerged as budding basketball stars, and they are already captivating the sports world with their play as teenagers.

While Bronny recently made shockwaves for his commitment to play for USC next season, LeBron’s youngest son, Bryce, has also made headlines for bailing on Sierra Canyon High School for the esteemed Campbell Hall.

“Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James, will leave Sierra Canyon to attend Campbell Hall next season, a source close to the situation told ESPN,” wrote ESPN’s, Myron Medcalf.

While we don’t yet know the exact motivations behind this move, we can guess it has something to do with the new multimillion-dollar athletic facility the James family recently donated to the school.

“Campbell Hall (Studio City, California) is about 19 miles from Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) and costs about $50,000 per year in tuition. According to the source, the James family has made a donation toward the creation of a new multimillion-dollar athletic facility on campus.”

Clearly, this change was made to put Bryce in the best position to succeed. At Campbell, he can focus on developing his game without having to worry about living up to the shadow of his brother.

Bryce May Turn Out Better Than Bronny

While it’s still far too early to make judgments on his game, Bryce is showing signs that he could be a really good player one day. Besides sharing a similar size and build with his dad, Bryce is said to be more naturally skilled than his older brother.

His second son, Bryce, who’s 15, was born during the 2007 Finals, so he’s like a young sophomore,” detailed Brian Windhorst. “He is much more physically gifted, he’s taller than Bronny already, he looks more like his dad, although not really, but he is more reminiscent of what LeBron looked like as a 16-year-old. He has a lot of differing interests. He’s getting into basketball, at least at this point, he doesn’t have the same focus on basketball as Bronny does. So the interesting thing is, the more naturally talented son appears to be his second son, Bryce. But the one who wants it so badly is Bronny.”

Only time will tell us what the NBA has in store for the next generation of the James family, but the odds are that at least one of these guys is going to be good, and if they’re anything like their father, it’s going to come with major success.
