Dennis Rodman Reveals He Has Never Bought A Pair Of Jordans: “Ain’t That A B*tch? I Used To Play With This F*cking Guy!”

Dennis Rodman and Michael Jordan only played together for 3 seasons. And in that time, they found a great deal of success together, winning 3 NBA championships in those seasons. Jordan and Rodman forged quite a strong bond with each other and became close friends during their short sting playing together. But Rodman admitted that he doesn’t own a pair of his shoes.

During an episode of Complex’s ‘Sneaker Shopping’, Dennis Rodman spoke about Jordan. He admitted that he has never bought a pair of Jordans in his life. He noted that it is crazy, and slightly unbelievable, especially since the two played together for a while, and had a friendship that has lasted the test of time. He then told Jordan that he loved him a lot (11:27 onwards).

“It’s amazing. I’ve never bought a pair of Jordans in my life. Ain’t that a b*tch? I used to play with this f*cking guy. I don’t hate you Jordan, I love you to death, love you right down to Jupiter brother.”

Rodman and Jordan are still very close friends. We saw their wholesome interaction last month during the NBA 75 ceremony at All-Star weekend, where Jordan affectionately hugged Rodman and had a pleasant conversation with him. On top of that, Rodman has revealed in the past that he goes and stays at Michael Jordan’s house quite a few times.

Rodman and MJ were also rivals in the past, when Rodman was playing for the Detroit Pistons, the team that posed the biggest challenge to Jordan in his hunt for an NBA championship in the 1980s. Rodman was aware of Jordan’s talent even then, noting that it is practically impossible to stop Michael Jordan on the court. Rodman must have enjoyed his time teaming with MJ, as he didn’t have to play against him.
