The Golden State Warriors are not looking like the reigning champions that they are. The team has had a disastrous season on the road, with their latest loss coming at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Dillon Brooks has had a lot to say about the Warriors this season, and he had more to say after the Grizzlies clinched another win over them.

“He’s got four rings. That’s all he was saying. It’s motivation to us. We want a ring as well. Being able to go through the process of steps that we did last year, we keep going and learning from it all. It’s friendly trash talk, but I just hold a lot of real estate over there in San Francisco.”

Brooks recognizes the fact that Klay Thompson can flex his titles because the Grizz have none. With the comments that Klay and Draymond Green have made about him and the Grizz, it’s obvious there are hard feelings there.

Is Warriors vs. Grizzlies The Best Rivalry In The NBA?

The NBA has plenty of rivalries, and the Warriors and Grizzlies are leading the charge. Their encounters have been must-watch television and always lead to some interesting moments between players that genuinely don’t like each other.

The Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns also have a heated rivalry, but this just seems to have a lot more eight behind it, given the potshots that have been thrown since their 2022 playoffs matchup.

The East has its fair share of solid rivalries, with everyone wondering if we’ll get another series between Boston and Philadelphia this season. Even though more players are friendly now than in the ’90s, these rivalries are keeping the competitive spark of the NBA alive.
