Dillon Brooks has no love for the Golden State Warriors, especially after their 2022 playoffs series, where the eventual champions took out the Memphis Grizzlies.

Draymond Green appears to be the one that Brooks hates the most, as the Grizzlies player recently took some big shots at the 4x NBA champion.

“I don’t like Draymond at all,” he says. “I just don’t like Golden State. I don’t like anything to do with them. Draymond talks a lot. Gets away with a lot, too. His game is cool — with Golden State — but if you put him anywhere else, you’re not going to know who Draymond is. He plays with heart, plays hard, knows the ins and outs of their defense. I guess that’s why they like him over there.”

Green and Brooks have gone at it several times, including last year’s Christmas Game, where the Warriors legend used big terms to call Brooks. Klay Thompson also took his chance to call out Brooks after making a big 3-pointer against the Grizzlies.

It’s pretty clear that there’s no love between the Grizzlies and the Warriors, and Brooks has taken things to the next level with his words to ESPN.

Memphis Grizzlies Have Become The Villains Of The NBA

The Memphis Grizzlies have taken over the Atlanta Hawks as the NBA villains. They like to act tough against their opponents, and things have gone a little too far recently. Besides Brooks clashing with several stars, including James Harden and Donovan Mitchell, Ja Morant has been involved in off-court controversy.

The point guard admitted that his team is the most hated in the NBA, but it doesn’t look like they’re doing something to change that narrative. The Grizzlies have embraced this villain role, earning a lot of criticism from fans and rivals who don’t think they’re tough.

To talk, you have to win, and the Grizzlies haven’t won anything yet. Once they bring some silverware to FedEx Forum, perhaps things can change, but now, they’re talking way more than what they’re winning.
