Considering their struggles all season long, the Golden State Warriors have a lot to be proud of for how their season ended. They beat the rising Kings and took the new-look Lakers to six games before elimination but now they are home licking their wounds.
For his part, Draymond Green stepped up when needed but there are still questions about his long-term future given his potential free agency and his previous incidents in the Warriors locker room. Despite it all, Dray says the Warriors are not done yet as we’ve seen them.
“Yeah, the clock is ticking,” Green said, via Yahoo Sports. “I think you know when you have so much success, then people start like getting, really put you on that clock. For us, we don’t pay attention to the clock. We just work and try to win every year.”

With Curry and Klay already on the wrong side of 30, nobody is sure how long the Dubs can continue to compete for championships and they showed their flaws this year against LeBron James and the Lakers.
But as long as Steph, Klay, and Draymond can continue playing at an All-NBA level, it’s impossible to count out the Warriors are they still believe in what they can do with this core.
Steve Kerr Says This Is Not The Last Dance For Warriors Dynasty
The Warriors have lost to a Western team in the playoffs for the first time in years, putting the entire franchise in an interesting position. With Stephen Curry still playing at such an elite level, it would be a waste for the Warriors to tear it all down now.
“I played on those Bulls teams, the ‘Last Dance,’ I can tell you from experience, even though everybody now says, ‘Well, why didn’t they keep that team together?’ That team was done, that team was finished. Emotionally, mentally, there was nothing left in the tank,” said Kerr. “I don’t feel that way about this team at all, I think these guys, Steph (Curry), Klay (Thompson), Draymond (Green), they’ve got lots to give for years to come. I never even have stopped to give that a second thought.”
if you’re a Warriors fan, you can rest easy knowing that this Warriors group isn’t done yet and we’re likely to see them give it another shot or two. The question is, can the team surround those guys with the necessary pieces to win, or have the best days of this core already run its course?
