LeBron James has been in the league for 20 years, and during that time, he has obviously had a plethora of different teammates. But one thing that fans have noted over the years is James’ variety of handshakes with his teammates.

James was recently captured on video, performing various elite handshakes with his current Lakers teammates in Game 4 of the first-round series vs. the Memphis Grizzlies.

The highlight of the clip was Tristan Thompson waiting for his turn to do the longest handshake with LeBron James. Thompson was signed by the Purple and Gold ahead of the playoffs to bring veteran experience to the team.

So far, this handshake with James has been the highlight of Thompson’s career with the Lakers. But with the Lakers having a comfortable 3-1 lead over the Grizzlies, maybe fans will get to see him play soon.

As for James’ handshakes, last year, another video featuring his various handshakes with every member of the Lakers went viral. It simply proves that the King’s memory is truly off the charts.

LeBron James Sends Message To The Lakers After Game 4 Win

LeBron James led the Lakers to a phenomenal 117-111 OT win over the Grizzlies in Game 4 of the series.

In the victory, James struggled a bit on the offensive end of the floor but filled the void in the clutch. After the game, LeBron sent a great message to the young players on the team’s roster.

“We got a lot of young guys, I understand that it’s my job to make sure they’re even keel. One game is not going to define the whole series. We have to be better. I want everyone to be comfortable when we go on the floor and just play free. Let me worry about the Xs and Os and the tactical things and all the other stuff, I can do that, I have the ability to do that.”

James is currently 38 years old and has 20 years of experience under his belt. Evidently, having a leader like James is a blessing for the young guys on the roster.

LeBron understands that duty and has been fulfilling it very well so far. So much so that the Lakers are on the verge of causing an upset by eliminating the Memphis Grizzlies in the opening round of the playoffs, thanks to some great performances from the young players.
