In Miami, Heat star Jimmy Butler has spent the summer honing his game and preparing for another long NBA season.
He also updated his look with a brand new style that features long and luxurious dreadlocks.
On Wednesday, he gave fans a sneak peek at what he’s been doing with some brand-new workout clips. Of course, fans couldn’t help but notice his extensions, which have completely updated his look.

While it remains to be seen how long Butler will sport the new look, professional fighter Jake Paul just gave him some extra incentive to keep it around for a while. On his YouTube show, offered the Heat star up to $250,000 dollars if he keeps his hairstyle through the whole season.
“I think it’s fire. Did you get any insight on whether or not he’s gonna play with it? Yo, Jimmy, I’ll pay you $250K if you rock that hair the whole season. That’s probably not a lot to him, but….”

Butler is obviously a fan of the style, but people have been roasting him all summer for it, including his own teammate, Kyle Lowry.
“I talked to him on FaceTime on Tuesday, I believe it was Tuesday, and I said ‘what the f**k.’ He’s there, he’s saying, ‘it’s fire yo.’ I said, ‘bruh, come on.’ If anybody knows Jimmy, Jimmy’s gonna do whatever the f**k Jimmy wants to do.”
Obviously, Butler’s dreads are getting a lot of attention — both the good kind and the bad kind. We will see soon enough what Butler decides to do and how long he decides to keep it.
For now, though, he’s going to keep grinding in the gym and force people to talk about his game instead of his looks.
