The Boston Celtics pulled off an incredible win in Game 6 against the Miami Heat. After going 3-0 down, the Celtics have miraculously come back to win 3 games and force a Game 7. The win in Game 6 came down to an incredible last-second buzzer-beater from Derrick White, which had to be reviewed after the final buzzer.

Jayson Tatum spoke about the tension in the air when the tip was being looked at. “Oh my god. That was incredible,” Tatum said during his post-game press conference. “Man, we drew up a play. They kind of took the way that I was trying to get the ball. Jimmy and Struss jumped out to me, Smart came in and shot it and we just crashed the glass. Everything was just a blur after that. D-White tipped it in.”

“That felt like the longest 10 seconds ever, waiting for confirmation if he made it or not. I’m still in disbelief. That sh** was crazy. I’m glad we got another chance, another opportunity. Far from over, still an uphill battle but it feels good to give yourself another chance.”

Tatum and the Celtics put on a solid performance to win Game 6. Playing Game 6 in Miami, a hostile environment, and coming away with a win was never going to be easy, but the Celtics gutted it out, and now they have a chance to do what no other team in NBA history has been able to do.

The Celtics On The Verge Of History

Jayson Tatum and the Celtics could be doing something that has never been done. If the Celtics are able to win Game 7, they will become the first team in the history of the NBA to overcome a 3-0 deficit and win a playoff series.

The Celtics know the stakes heading into Game 7. Jaylen Brown said that the Celtics cannot undo their hard work by laying an egg and underperforming in Game 7. Regardless of the outcome, fans are in for a cracking Game 7 on Monday night.
